June 1. Day 8 40kms
Great start to the day, met up with a cousin Ben Ricard and got to meet Brent who made us waffles, yummm, really enjoyed my visit hadn’t seen Ben since he was a kid. Their home was only a few minutes from the ferry – timed it just – no wait.
I was a little worried about taking Marine Dr into down town, to see Ashely at her work then got to take the bike trail (sea wall) almost all the way to her home. Hung up my soaked tent, glad I’m in a bed tonight. Now curled up having take out.
